As promised last week, here is the photo of the cabinet I picked up at The Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in Connecticut when I went two weekends ago. I don't usually pick a piece in need of so much work. This needs to be stripped, sanded, scoured, rebuilt in places, restored in others and painted. It is such a unique piece, however, that I just had to give it a go. I think the bottom door panels will be removed completely and fabric put in their place. I am trying to decide about color. I will work on it for the September Market. Hopefully, I don't fall in love with the finished product and need to keep it, cause I don't know where it could possibly go. Wish me luck!
